    Learning Processes

To learn about balance and find support along the way, consider any of the learning processes below.

    1. Hire a Coach. Coaching is a high-impact, highly effective partnership for supporting balance goals. To find a coach tap into Women’s Media alliance partner Coaching.com (www.coaching.com), or call author Brenda Wilkins (406-549-6086) for a list of her favorite personal and executive coaches.
    1. Join a Simplicity and/or Balance Circle/Group. To find a group of like-minded people to support you on the journey consider contacting Simple Living Magazine. Another resource is “The Learning for Life Project” lead by Cecile Andrews (The Simplicity Circle, Harper Collins) at 711 N. 60th Seattle, WA 98103.
    1. Find a Balance/Accountability Partner. If you know someone interested in balance set up your own support system and challenge each other along the journey. Don’t underestimate the power of an accountability partner. Mine have kept me focused during times of confusion and chaos.
    1. Take a Balanced Living Workshop. Search out your local community adult education for balance-related topics. Look up workshop and retreat options from some of the organizations listed below, or contact the author for referrals.
    1. Get Educated with the books, magazines, and resources below.
